In 2021, we were happy to receive support from the German Federal Cultural Foundation as part of the Tanzland – Guest-performance partnership programme, enabling collaboration with the Cultural and Educational Center Bad Oldesloe (KuB). This funding allowed us to present six guest performances in Schleswig-Holstein and extend our work beyond the borders of Hamburg into the regional, rural environment. We have had many wonderful experiences at KuB, which we have shared with you:
From the workshops and performances of our children's piece SUITE (6+) to the shared experience of our group piece ENSEMBLE and the revival of DUETT with a 'new old' cast, our meetings have been characterized by the touching interplay between music and dance, by listening and moving, by the ever-negotiable relationship between the individual and the group. Together with students from the local city school and members of the amateur theater association Bad Oldesloe macht Theater, we engaged in intergenerational exchange through workshops and OPEN STUDIOS.
The collaboration with KuB has been and continues to be a great enrichment for us and our (future) work. We are excited to see how contemporary dance will establish itself in the city in the future!
